What does “Na Hiku” mean?

Na Hiku, a portion of Ursa Major (Great Bear), AKA the Big Dipper, is a constellation used by seafaring Polynesians as a guide to Polaris, or the North Star—a major navigational aid since it remains stationary in the night sky.   Na Hiku, or “The Sevens” (count the stars) circles around Polaris each night with the front edge of its “bowl” pointing toward the star.   In the same way this group of stars acted as a guide for these seafarers, we want to be your guide to great athletic health, whether you are a weekend warrior, or an elite athlete.

. . . and Na Hiku is the NH part of Dan's Middle Name!
